League of Women Voters of Clark County
The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
Membership in the League is open to men and women age 16 and older. Learn about our organization and activities. Then come join us at an event that interests you.
Members study community issues in depth and take positions based on knowledge gained in the comprehensive study.
Read comments submitted by LWVCC regarding Vancouver Energy's construction air permit for a June 7, 2017, hearing held by the Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council.
We also submitted comments regarding the original application from Tesoro-Savage to transport crude oil along the Columbia River to the Port of Vancouver, Washington for storage and transfer by ship to other western ports.
