The League of Women Voters of Snohomish County is a non-partisan organization whose purpose is to encourage the informed and active participation of all citizens in government and politics and to influence public policy through education and advocacy. We depend on volunteer assistance for all aspects of local League work.

A board of directors operates the local League. An annual membership meeting is held every spring during which members vote on a slate of nominees. This and other event dates are set during a summer retreat during which the board discusses what public events the League will hold during the coming year.
