"Voter service" is the term League uses for its nonpartisan voter education activities.

Elected Officials Directory, They Represent You (TRY)
Each year, the League publishes a directory called They Represent You that lists all elected officials representing the citizens of Snohomish County at all levels. The directory is widely distributed around the county. It is also available on our website (see the online version).

Candidate Forums
Meetings are held to give citizens the opportunity to meet, hear, and question candidates running for public office. During the 2004 election season, some online candidate forums will also be available through the support of the state league.

Candidate Statements on KSER
League volunteers at the local public radio station record candidates' statements and ballot initiative discussions for broadcast.

Workshops for Prospective Candidates
The League has established a partnership with the County Auditor to encourage members of the community to run for public office by providing insight into the campaign process. A workshop is typically held each spring (contact the County Auditor for exact dates).

Speakers' Bureau
League speakers are available to present pros and cons on ballot issues and to speak on citizenship, voting, and the history of suffrage.

Voter Registration
League volunteers distribute voter registration forms to over 300 sites in the county. These forms are also available on the County Auditor's website. League volunteers also participate in local voter registration drives.
