John Lombard was the guest speaker at the LWV/Thurston County Fourth Annual Education Fund Luncheon on November 17th.

Mr Lombard is author of "Saving Puget Sound: a Conservation Strategy for the 21st Century". He offered a realistic view of what can be done to preserve something of the beauty that this corner of the Northwest offers, despite the inevitable growth in population and environmental degradation.
