Infobits and Election Basics Sticker Project
Who: The statewide Election Credibility Project initiated and created Infobits.
What:
- Infobits provide detailed and accurate Election Basics information.
- Infobits were developed in collaboration with the WA Secretary of State’s office, and based on interviews with auditors throughout WA state.
- Infobits have been thoroughly vetted for accuracy.
- Infobits are abbreviated information headlines that provide accurate election and voting process details, countering common misinformation and direct people to a webpage with more election information.
Where: The goal is to spread Infobits, to communities around Washington state, allowing accurate election details to permeate voters’ knowledge.
Why: Infobits originated to provide accurate and trustworthy election information.
How: Distribution
- Members choose an Infobit language version.
- Infobits are then printed onto 4” by 2” label pages (10 per sheet)
- League members supply pages of Infobit stickers for distribution to local businesses; libraries; food banks etc.
