Let's Talk About Money in Politics (LWVWA-JC)

This is a public education event, in conjunction with the LWVWA and WA State America 250 Day of Civic Engagement. Two organizations will present their work. Fix Democracy First and American Promise are working at both the State and National Level, to get control of excessive corporate and dark money in politics, and overturn Citizens United, to get back control of our individual voting power. There will be a question and answer period after the presentations. This is an issue that affects every voter in our democracy, regardless of where you stand on the political spectrum.
